Serendipityx2 Day Spa Pandemic Protocol for Clients (updated 7/2/2021)
We take the health and safety of our clients, and ourselves, seriously – probably even more this past year. As things ‘open up’ more, we will be relaxing some of our protocols that have been in place for the past year. Please see below for the most recent protocols on how we are maintaining our business practices.

We continue to make decisions based on current scientific data, from trusted resources, along with our state licensing boards. These are the current best practices we are comfortable with, and we appreciate your cooperation, regardless of your personal views. {Just a note that our failure to comply with regulations set forth by our state boards can lead to license suspensions and/or revocations for us. Please do not ask us to make exceptions.}

IMPORTANT NOTE: To provide the best protection to ourselves, and our clients, we will not provide services to anyone in the following scenarios: If you, or anyone in your household, have traveled to a significant ‘hot spot’ area or out of the country within the past 14 days; has had first or second-hand exposure or contact with anyone diagnosed with COVID-19 or its symptoms; and/or are waiting on test results or have been diagnosed with Coronavirus (or any other communicable/contagious diseases) themselves. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.

Clients can currently expect the following:
1. If you are feeling any type of illness, cold symptoms, coughing, ‘allergies,’ nausea, etc. PLEASE CANCEL AND DO NOT COME IN! Call and reschedule the appointment; all cancellation fees are waived for any illness. We cannot afford to be sick ourselves, so PLEASE DO NOT COME! If you arrive ill, we will reschedule your appt.

2. A “Client Informed Consent” form will need to be filled out the first time you come in after July 2020. This is done (preferably) electronically prior to the appointment, just provide your email address. (First-time clients will also need to fill out any new client intake forms, as normal.)

3. Our door has been re-opened and is no longer locked at all times. (It will be locked if all therapists are with clients behind closed doors) Upon arrival you may enter, but we do ask that you continue to use a mask when entering the building. (see #4.)

4. We still ask anyone entering the building to wear a face mask for the protection of anyone here who may not be vaccinated or are otherwise immuno-compromised. If you are fully vaccinated for Covid, you may remove the mask when you are in your treatment room/area only. However, if you are not fully vaccinated, we ask that you remain masked for the duration of your visit. Again, this is for your protection, as well as your therapist and other guests who may be here. You may bring your own mask or a disposable one can be provided for you. Please note that masks must be worn over the nose and mouth. Our therapists have chosen to remain masked when working with clients.

5. Please arrive no earlier than five minutes prior to your appt. time. Due to cleaning procedures and social distancing of clients, we cannot accommodate you too early. We ask that you refrain from bringing any other guests with you to your appt. unless you need assistance into the building. (This includes children unless they are receiving a service.)

6. Our public hospitality station remains suspended until further notice.

7. Please refrain from excess touching of retail products, polish bottles, etc. We will be happy to assist you with any items you wish to see.

8. Clean your hands before your service by washing them or using hand sanitizer. If applicable, wash your hands or use hand sanitizer after your service also, prior to making payment and rebooking.

9. You will notice more ‘noise’ from our air purifiers, which are in every treatment room and the reception area. These units are being utilized to keep our air quality cleaner for everyone.

10. We still accept all forms of payment. Cash, check, and credit cards can be used as usual.

11. We have missed you and love catching up, but we are encouraging less hugging and handshakes right now.

12. If you would develop COVID symptoms (and/or are diagnosed with it) within 14 days of visiting at our facility, please notify us immediately so that we can take the proper precautions to protect our clients and families. Thank you!

*Please note that Body Scrubs & Envelopments have been suspended from the menu until further notice.*
